I think they're great. I love getting their Bowls and they have killer shrimp tacos. I love their spiciest hot sauce too! Great location!!! Easy to find with outdoor seating, indoor seating and a clean bathroom. No complaints! Forgot to take pics of the food, just know it was yummy and my leftovers were good the next day. lol
What a lovely place to grab tacos and sit outdoors or inside around Seattle. I really enjoyed how fast the food came, as well as the flavor and texture of the tacos especially the tortillas. Service was very friendly and the chicken was not dry which was great to see, I would come back.
So we went on the hot day of 92 in July, it was good because they had open seats. Usually they are filled up, and you can't sit down. The food was really awesome, and tasty! Came out fast, nice little cute homey diner. Definitely make a trip to Taco El Lago!
I've been here many times and have had most of the menu and it's fantastic every time. The habanero salsa is the perfect level of spice and the birria burrito (like all their burritos) is very large and very delicious. Highly recommend.
It's really hard to find GOOD Mexican food in the Seattle area, and El Lago was a pleasant surprise. Their birria tacos are top notch and the flavors definitely reminded me of those one can find in taquerias in Mexico. Definitely planning on visiting more often.
